Edelkrone SliderOne

Came across the new Edelkrone SliderOne and was wanting people's opinions on it's design:

I do wedding videography and have found that if I have something that requires reasonable setup time (like putting an ordinary slider on a tripod) it just doesn't happen.
The SliderOne would allow me to leave this slider on a tripod all day, while providing subtle movement in ordinarily stagnant shots.
Is this the tool for the job? I was also considering the shorter SliderPlus model.

Finally if one were to purchase a slider like the SliderOne are there any techniques you would recommend to ensure that the movement along the slider are steady and not jerky.

I was very interested in this. Look at length and camera travel. Compare it to the smallest Sliderplus. You will find for a few more inches of real estate you get far more travel. I went with the SliderPlus small and love it. It's tiny and lives on the carbon fiber tripod. Just carry a separate monopod with you and a good quick release system and your good to go.
