I don't have FCS2 yet but can anyone give me an overview of all the codecs that FC can handle ??

It can handle a lot. I think the only main difference from Final Cut 5 is the introduction of the ProRes codec (see their site for the info). Otherwise same deal. Uncompressed, DVCPro's, DV, Offline codecs, and so on and so forth. Perhaps if you're worried about the inclusion of a few specific codecs you could ask that and then someone could confirm for you. That would be a lot simpler.
