I hadn't ever seen it before last night. Man, that thing almost brought me tears.

THAT THEATRE SCENE WAS SO AWESOME! He's just sitting there "This is the one I'll be remembered for" and the look of pure joy on Depp's face was awesome.

I've watched Plan 9 I don't know how many times, but seeing everybody interacting with each other was so cool. It was just such a great film. I loved the Orson Welles scene too.

Damn, I want to go watch it again.

If you fancy yourself a filmmaker, even a struggling filmmaker; actually make that especially if you're a struggling filmmaker, go check it out.

Definitely a great film. I love how Burton treated the subject with respect. It would have been really easy to go off into parody, or worse mocking, but Burton just old the story with flair. I also have no idea how Johnny Depp looked so happy for so long.

I loved that movie--it's really one of Tim Burton's best films. Martin Landau absolutely deserved the Oscar for his portrayal of Bela Lugosi--he was cheated on that one. But the whole cast was great.

Never seen it....but.....I added it to my Blockbuster Online Que.....should receive it sometime this week. Sounds like a cool flick and I can't wait to see it.

Yeah, it was. They recently re-issued it. I think there was some sort of copyright violation in one of the extra features that needed to be fixed. I'm not exactly sure of the details, though.

I remember during the recall the DVD was going for 200 bucks on ebay. Man how i wished I had grabbed a few copies before my local store pulled them

Just saw this for the first time last month and I absolutely love it. My brother and I were crying watching Landau.

What I *meant* to say was he deserved two Oscars and was really cheated because he only got one. One for best supporting actor and uh...one..for really creepy makeup...wearing. Cheated. :huh:
