It's currently called the Eclipse Concept-E and is scheduled for their '06 car lineup. You can find some of the specs here: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=1822

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

..looks pretty nice. ....alot of cars have been borrowing from the nissan 350 Z lately. i t looks as though they may have learned a little from it as well.

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

ya the day they release a production model that looks anything like that will be the day...

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

Why is there a HOLE in the bottom of the seat??  Is that a new feature?  If it is, I LIKE IT!!!!

hehehehehe

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

Did you guys notice how the shifter matches the interior door handle?

...that's cute. ;)

I'm not going to answer that. Shite!, I wouldn't mind driving that thing around. Too bad I live in the WESSSSIDE! That thing will get stolen inless than 10secs. Yeah, It's pretty bad where I'm from. But at least I'll look cool for one day or maybe two hours depending on where I park my car. I think it looks tight!

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

It's funny how close to the look of "future cars" they were in some of the older Sc-Fi movies.

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

That's true Dakota, but it's weird how starkly different those kinds of car are when compared to say our architecture or our clothing.

;D Ya - They really dropped the ball on "future clothing"!  ::)

I never get to wear my silver jumpsuit  >:(

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

...and I think that hole in the seat is nothing but following the design of the rest of the seat that has two more holes. maybe let the air pass through...
can't be a cup holder...

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

It's too funy...If you look at the first Japanese offering, the civic circa 1975-76 and look at the Eclipse...wow, reverse engineering of alien craft or what

Re: Eclipse: The New Generation

Dude, run that thing off of hydrogen and give me a different color and I'd buy one! That is a freaking sweet car. Similar in some respects to the old Italian Delorean!
