Add some padding to your cells. The content is pegged hard against one side.

My 2 cents.
 
Try nesting a table inside the cell, and apply your padding to that. Its not really kosher, and is a bit of a hack, but it works and should accomplish what you're after.
 
Times New Roman feels really rough to me. I like crisp text or something new rather than basic Times. I dunno... Times feels like I'm surfing through google, or writing a term paper.
