Ebay wide angle & telephoto

Well, they'll "work" in that they'll screw onto the front of the camera, but it's really cheap glass that will hurt your picture quality.
 
yeah.. dittotheyll work. but they dont work well in terms of pro equipment.. and as you know you get what you pay for.
 
I think Jarred did a little test a while back on one of those "tele converters" It infact didn't tele convert anything, it was about the same field of view but looked like you were looking through the bottom of a coke bottle, severe vignetting and very distorted image. A nice effect for 100 bucks, but it's not a tele converter by any means. Stay far away from these.
 
Yeah, I think the proper phrase here would be "you 'rarely' get what you pay for".

I can't think of a worse way to spend $249.
 
..holy cow!! they are charging 249.00 .. hahahaha! i didnt even catch the price when i looked.. just scrolled to the pics to confrim the brand. geez, i should bottle up some sand and mix it with ben gay and sell it as "supreme lense cleaner" on e-bay for 300.00
 
I just picked up the .7x Century converter used on ebay for 350$. You can get the Century .6 new for that price. I would spend the extra $100 for something that you know will be good. Actually I see a Century .6 and the telephoto on ebay right now.
