Hi,
I am eBay user since 2008 and I have bought many things there and I have never had bad experience. Until recently, I have bought lens (Canon 70-200 2.8 IS) from 100% seller with long history. Unfortunately lens came with broken IS. I don't know if this is fault of shipping or lens was shipped damaged. I took the lens to the official Canon service center and they said lens can be repaired for 120 pounds. (Seller is from UK and I am from Czech Republic). So I contacted seller with offer that I am willing to split the cost of repair since no one can say when damage happened. Seller replied that I am liar and he will not pay anything.
I tried to act fair, so I am little bit upset now. I would like to return lens and get money back. What is the best way to deal with this? Contact eBay or PayPal?
Thanks
