Ebay camera scam

[mainstreetprod]

Why is a seed company selling a Red MX package, and why are they willing to sell it via Buy it Now for $2300? Why is the Buy it Now button in the body of the listing rather than at the top and not an Ebay link? Why does the seller put their email address in bold letters and ask you to use it for any questions? Many questions to ponder....

it's worse than scam it's phishing as they are trying to get your info via the buy it now link...reported to ebay...
This may be account hacking. someone hacks a good account and posts fraudulent listings.

Somebody has put in a bid so the buy now button has gone. It doesn't to me look like a scam - the usual warning signs are absent, but as you get a chance to test it out, and pay by paypal, you would seem ok. Am I missing something?

Yes, click on the buy it now button in the body of the article description,[edit] well now you can't because Ebay has considered it phishing (and pretty fast I must say).
There was a false buy it now button in the body of the description that linked to an external wordpress page simulating the ebay log in page, where you could write your account data...) that is was ebay has pulled out the ad.
