Haha, this is one of the main reasons I switch from the hvx to a 5d. It is highway robbery what they charge for storage. Not that I dont still love the hvx or p2. But when I look at the price of compact flash now those p2 prices make me puke a little in my mouth

Er, that's kind of the point of this thread... that P2 card is so profoundly ridiculously overpriced, because you can buy a brand new 64GB card for less than that guy's trying to charge for a 4GB card...

Search anything... like say, canon 24-70... which I'm currently shopping for... There's 7 listings ranging from $100-$350 higher then new USA B&H...

Seriously... search ANYTHING... sort by highest price... you'll get a full page of lunacy...
