ebay 10HR batteries any good

3yrs

3yrs

The batts in question are more than 3 yrs old. I've had one of them since 2001(on other camera), and the other, for the last yr. But that came with the DVX100, so i guess i'll go put them in the rectangular filing cabinet.

Thanks!:dankk2:

I am a avid ebayer and I have purchased 2 of the 10hr. batterys. The longest I have ever ran one is about 5 hours. Keep n mind I don't use the on board lcd screen when shooting. I have three panasonic chargers so I make it a practice to have batteries charging at all times on a shoot. I also use one of those power converters coupled with a monster surge protector in my truck when I am shooting outdoors. You never know when you'll need power.

Yep, Li-Ion batteries age about 10%/year, in use or not. If they are stored in hot environment, or abused any other way all the bets are off...
