Easy Audio Program

[Whiteside Production]

Does anyone know of a program for Windows that you can create original music, but is easy to master quickly. Maybe something with preinstalled beat packs or something....

Like a MIDI program?

[Whiteside Production]

yeah

whiteside,

I think acid is what you're looking for.

Now Noct, pushing your drug choice in forum is not cool. OTOH, Acid (with a captial A  ) is good. I use Sonar. You can download a demo at their website. http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/kb/kb2005298.asp

They are both good programs.

Good luck

I have ACID Music Studio 5.0. It has quite a learning curve, but the tutorial is helpful. (To a certain extent... I'm a slow learner at times.)

Hope this helps!

Read my audio tutorial thread. I go on and on about the use of a tracker to create music. It is like having 10 $20,000 samplers set up in a studio with a top notch sequencer.

where can the sound loops in aadobe be fpund?

Hi there,

check out www.acidplanet.com, check out, www.smartsound.com, and also Adobe Audition comes with a gazzilion sound loops to create music from.

Now Derrick, the url is actually Acidplanet.com with a capital A... nah, just kidding. I'm just messing with wabbit.

If you can't grasp Acid, I don't know how you plan on understanding a tracker. I can't stand Acid myself. It feels like cheating, therefore it feels very unrewarding. It's good if you don't know what you're doing and want to lay down a bunch of generic tracks.

I use Cubase SX3. I use to be a cakewalk user many moons ago with CW Pro Audio 8.

FruityLoops is pretty fun. By fun, I mean AWESOME! Acid, too.
