Ear buds

[10s]

OK, I admit I'm ignorant on these little guys (ear buds for ipods) but I need to know what is the "best" ear buds out there.

"Best" = accurate & faithful sound reproduction.

thanks

Ear buds or for-real in-ear monitors?

Haven't used 'em but I've heard good things about Etymotics, Ultimate Ears, and Shure's monitors.

I'm just looking for good ipod gear for running around, day to day on the go listening.

I haven't noticed a huge difference in any of them outside of the ultra cheap ones.
