Each video has its own project file, now need to merge videos together into one video

Hey guys,

I've run into a possibly really annoying situation. I have a bunch of short videos that I've edited in separate project files for organization/simplicity, and now have been requested to create 1 video with all these short videos.

Is there a way I can copy/paste tracks into other projects?

I have to do some additional editing to make it a seamless video otherwise I'd just make lossless renders of each then put them together in a master project.

Thanks for any help as always.

you should be able to nest your other projects into your master project (i.e. import the .veg file) , but I don't think you can do specific tracks.

editing will be easier/faster on pre-rendered assets - if your imported projects were massive with lots of filters etc., vegas will have to render all that in realtime

You can place the VEG files onto a common timeline and they'll be just like any other clips.

However, you can also open Vegas multiple times and copy/paste from one instance to another. Works best if the arrangement of video and audio tracks is the same in both instances.
