each track in seperate window, possible?

i have to clips that i have synced in the timeline. the shots are done simultaniously with two different formats, so i cat use multiclip function in fcp. i want to see both of the clips simultniously in order to figure out the cut.

i then had to use scale in motion tab so that i could see both of the clips in one window. is there any function in fcp that lets you see each track in the timeline in a seperate window?

that would make everything much easier...

You just did it. Scaling. The other way is with the Multiclip function, which you said that you cannot use as the tapes are different formats. If they are different formats, you have to use the SCALE option.

That would be nice, though, to allow a user to open multiple canvas' which could be used to view different tracks! Good idea. Let's add it to the FCP 7 wishlist.
