I can't decide if this is good or bad. Macromedia combined with Adobe would end a bitter rivalry and could bring about some amazing mixed products. At the same time I'm really not happy with Adobe's customer support or their softwares need of large amounts of RAM... (more than most other equivalent products on the market).

I have the distinct feeling that Adobe is going to destroy Dreamweaver. As a fan of the product this would be horrible to see. I must say I'm more pessimistic about this than optomistic....

Anyway, it will be interesting..

If a single line of GoLive code goes into DW, it will be a tragedy and I will never get another upgrade. Lets just hope they dont buy Vegas from Sony. The ONLY Adobe program I like is Photoshop. Love Photoshop. But GoLive and Premier are the most counter intuitive application within their respective fields. Strange programs.

I hear ya man. I love macromedia's software. Go Live is absolutely one of the worst pieces of software ever writter :P. I'm also concerned about Fireworks and Cold Fusion. Are they going to survive at all?

I've been using Photoshop for a while now so it's not so strange to me (and so Premiere was easy enough to grasp). Still I understand what you are saying!

The only programs I really like a lot from Adobe are Photoshop and After Effects. So far I'm only sticking with Premiere because of its similarity to and integration with photoshop. For many people though that similarity is what makes it so damn hard to pick up.
