DYS Smart 3 axis gimbal issues?

Fly-catchers

I have just replaced my Aeroxcraft 2 axis gimbal with a DYS smart 3 axis model on my Phantom 1.
One issue I have noticed is that every so often the top green led next to the small red led starts to flicker and crackle even when the craft is not flying or being moved. Other times that led is static and not flickering even if you move the craft around on all axis.

Although its nice not to see any yaw wiggle on the footage, so far the footage vibrates very badly (jello) particulary when the craft is asending. This video shows the effect and even with the low light the jello is really bad. The props are the stock 8 inch ones and are balanced. I rarely got jello on my Aeroxcraft gimbal. But it does seem as if 3 axis gimbals on Phantoms are prone to excessive jello and even the zenmuse needs an ND filter to reduce its effects.

Any suggstions welcome!
I have been offered a refund on the gimbal but am sure whether to ask for a replacement and try and tweak and adjust it to get better results or just go back to the aeroxcraft which while far from perfect did give consistant results.

Get rid of it, the DYS isn't all that well built and is a pain to use. Most people end up giving up with it and buying the FY-G3 Ultra instead (which isn't a hassle and is well built).

I bought one and ended up selling it a far old loss as it wasn't worth the hassle.
