Dynatran ????

almost bought legs from these guys today. you can get them on ebay cheaper. i watched a set of 75mm legs with spreader go for $25 + $25 shipping. cheap.

head prob sux. if you want cheap, get a bogen 503. less than $300 and very smooth. i love mine....
 
I needed a 100mm tripod for a crane that I'm going to order. It's when you go into the bigger tripods, unfortunetly they tend to cost more. I was just wondering if this is worth it or not?

These guys are all over ebay with some really great deals. I don't have the sticks, but I can tell you I have 25 c stands & 4 combo stands from them. You can get c stands for sometimes $15 + 25 shipping. WOW !

BUT,… there's always a but. I also have 10 or so Matthews C's,, The stands these guys sell are Chinese knock offs. They are 80% as good, but please know the craftsmanship is knock off quality. "kind of like a nice fake Rolex, but not a real one. I like the stands because a stand is a rough item, but for something like a fluid head .... hmmmm I'd be careful.

At 40% of the price of the good stuff how can you Squawk!!

I think it should be fine if your weight is under 26 pounds. I just got a set of legs (today) from them off ebay (AT-9901T), 15$ + 24$ shipping. It was 75mm and they have max weight as 77 pounds. I was impressed by it if I say so. Now if that 503 will get here so I can put it together. Looks like basically the same sticks except your model has the 100mm bowl and mine has a mid level spreader rather than the ground spreader.

I did a search on ebay and came up with these 100mm sticks. (Several of them are from the same place in brooklyn so you might think twice about them. I thing I'm going to be happy with my dynatran but for the amount of money they are showing for the one you are looking at I would go cheaper and get one of these bogens)

Don't buy direct from site. That kit goes for under $500 on eBay. I have some sticks from them and they are *ok*. Like mentioned, knock offs. I have a carbon fiber set and an aluminum set that is rated at 77 pounds, but I would be leery on that. I got them for $50 each off eBay including shipping so a really sweet deal... They are good for the price but keep in mind the service SUCKS ASS! Be ready to be patient! I waited 5 weeks for delivery after payment. No reply to emails and when I had a minor service issue it took 6 emails and a month and a half to resolve.
