dynatran tripod plate

Hi everyone, :beer:

I write here in despair cause I don't seem to find a quick release plate for my dynatran tripod ( the biggest model , and I want to be able to change rapidly and put the cam on the glydecam). Seems like the dynatran plate is not standard size. i've already try 2 different quick release plates and they don't work... The width of the plate is longer than the standard. What should I do ?

The Dynatran tripods are marketed by Amvona.com. You should be able to order spare parts by calling customer service and giving model #.

Hi,

thanks for your advice. I wrote to Amvona but have no answer. Their new site is quite peculiar and I couldn't figure anything on it. That said as I'm currently in Spain, I would prefer a writen correspondance. Anyway it seems that amvona don't care to respond, and I bought a lot of stuff from them via their ebay store...
So I'm proposing to forget about them : now what do I do with this plate problem ??

I bought a replacement plate for my Manfrotto 501 from BHphotovideo.com, you might have some luck going there.

thanks but I've already been there. Didn't find anything. The problem is there is nothing when you search "dynatran" on the site... And dynatran do not answer, nor apprently are doing quick release plates. Am I stuck with this ?
