Hey all you lighting people -- I was trying out a couple of diffusion solutions with one of my 600 watt halogens, and I made the mistake of looking at the light (from about 2 feet away) when I dropped the diffusion material which resulted in one heck of a ZANG to my eyes (primarily the left). It's been about 6 hours and there's still this foggy dryness in the left eye.
Just wanted to know how long until the sensation goes away and if there's any home remedies you can advise on. The closest thing I could find were welders giving home remedies they've used after looking at the blue flame and flashing with naked eyes.
Lots of people applying potatoes to their closed eyes, cold towels -- even vick's vapor rub on their cheeks.
