God damn that's a lot of motor bikes! Hope you reach your goal.

Elvis - Thanks A LOT Elvis. That was very generous of you. You just directly helped a lot of students.

I'll wait a few more days, until all donations are received, and then place the order for helmets. It will take 7 days to receive the order. After that we will have a donation ceremony at JBAC college, where students from other schools will come as well. I'll post photos in a few weeks.

Please forward this to your friends and family or to your place of employment. Businesses might want to donate a small amount. Every $3.25 helps! :)

Thanks again to all those who have donated and all your kind words of support.

You made it very easy,

to click some hope your way!

You're a beacon P.K.

Craig - I wouldn't say "a beacon" but you sure sent some "bacon" :) Thanks! That was VERY generous. You just helped a lot of students. Not only by providing them with helmets but by letting them know that people care.

I have created a seperate page just for the Helmets for Students Project. I will try and keep you updated on this thread or on the web page.

Thanks again!

BUMP!!! :)

(edit) Jarred, nevermind. I can't remember the last time I clicked a sticky. Maybe it's best to just bump this thread for the next few days.

Last week I sent an email to 40 friends and family regarding Helmets for Students and got NO responses. But the response from DVXuser, from people I've never met before, has been incredible. Why is that?

Do any of you sometimes feel that complete strangers support you in your dreams more than friends and family?

Yes, I have found this to be true to an unbelievable extent! Glad I'm not the only one. :)

Elvis - Thank your daughter for me. That is VERY kind. If everyone could forward it to their friends, school, or work place then we could donate helmets in other areas of Thailand too. Maybe even get some national press here.

Thanks again to everyone who has already donated or given words of support.

Hey P.K. I just noticed that when I printed the page for my daughter. The right side is cutt off. Any suggestions?

Hmmm I've never tried printing it. It might be best to highlight the text and paste it into a Word document. And then copy the images as well. (If you click the images they open larger versions.) Then add some bold fonts or colors to make it beautiful. It's more work but it's the olnly solution I have. Although, maybe there's a setting in your "Print Properties" that controls the size percentage. Maybe try 90%. Sorry.

Cause we are a community... thats what friends do. I gave you a bit of cash cause what your doing, not only this helmet ordeal but what your doing over there is beautiful, selfless and very respectful.

If you promise to take some photos when you are done to show us all how it turned out, I will sticky this baby.
