DVXuser Redesign

I've been coming here for a while now and it's an great site and awesome resource... but the design has always annoyed me a bit. The jagged default icons, awkward spacing, grey borders, etc.

So... I threw this together:
http://batteryfire.com/clients/dvxuser/

I worked as a full time designer before getting into film, so it probably bothers me more than others!

Thoughts?

I logged on once and for a split second they changed / modified the theme..

Think it was Xmas, literally.

I like it. Good job!

Though personally, if your going to redo a theme - why not totally change it?

I'm not on either side of the fence, just in it for the content - so to speak.

Didn't see enough of a change to make much of a difference...but I have no problem with the way it looks now. I've often found that less IS more.

A+ for the effort though!

Now, show us what a great production designer you are and create the actual skin for the site which matches your design concept and can be applied.

I'm okay with things as they are...except perhaps for the 60 requirement on the search function.
