One of the bigger side projects for dvxuser this year is to develop our own mobile web version of dvxuser for any mobile device (or the bandwidth restricted), as well as native android and ios dvxuser apps that we can grow and make feature rich (beyond just browsing dvxuser) over time.
So, first a question... just to get a feel if nothing else... What mobile device are you most likely to browse dvxuser on? Android, iOS, or Other?
The poll is private (meaning your username is not displayed with whatever you vote), and you can choose more than one option if you need to.
2nd, please feel free to drop your suggestions for a future mobile web version, and/or apps for dvxuser.
The tabbed browsing that went live here in rudimentary form is something that will become more robust over time, and also something that will translate to the mobile versions of the site in the future. Ultimately, you will all be able to have a custom tab that you can set up with any forum categories, forums, or sub-forums and organize to your taste, and then set it as your default tab (registered users only, of course).
Plan is for it all to be free to you guys. Which also means it's a goal over the course of this year, as we have to pay the bills still
Think that's it for now. Just looking to start conversation so as mobile development moves forward, I have something to reference for user ideas and suggestions.
