Besides EVS I just received a discount on a Sticky Pod because I am a DVXuser member. Thanks Tom.

Keep in mind he's on vacation (shooting a project i think) for another week or so. So it may take him some time to reply.

If you wanna discount, you can go to ebay, buy the cam, tapes, tripod, wide angle lense, another telephoto lense, case, 3 filters, a light to mount on the cam... for the price of the cam alone, and if you go to http://www.ebay.ca for those Americans around here, its even cheaper.

that package is bullcrap - don't buy from j&k cameras....

this is by far the best deal I ever had, and its not from J&K its from Camera In a Snap, best deal I seen on the net. Beats any price in the market. Equipment is brand new sealed in its factory boxes. I have bought 4 units from Camera In A Snap and its been great!. EVERYTHING works as it should.

I'm sure the company delivers, but the accessories in those kits are no good. The lenses are even so bad they will ruin your footage.

No, don't buy from ebay.

Heres why, a Warranty is not included, nothing of that sort is included. If you look for a used Dxv100a, someone might have a warranty and transfer it to you, warranty is probably the most important thing the camera can come with, DONT GET A CAMERA WITHOUT WARRANTY!

I think anyone there can help. I've had nothing but the most incredible service from Randy, and someone else whose name I think is Ramsi, but I didn't catch it; and Johnny. I'll be back in again tomorrow picking up a G-Raid.

Seriously world class people, with a lot of knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm. I wish sales staffs in a lot of retailers in the pro audio world were as attentive and committed to their products.

And, to the main point of this thread, they all know about the DVXUser discount, so I'd say go or call with confidence.

Also, if you're in CA and you have a business in post production, be sure to use the post production tax rate, which is just over 3%. Again, these guys know all about it, unlike some other retailers who will stare at you blankly when you show up with your state form. They have the form there.

Warranty IS included. Everything is factory sealed. And the accessories work fine to me, no loss of image quality in any way shape or form.

rostronics gives a 5% discount on their lights to dvx users. just enter "DVXuser" in the coupon code box at checkout. the lights are already a sweet deal before the discount. i just bought the 600w/1200w dual lamp with barndoors, 32" softbox, and 8' stand for $190. talk to tom.

No its not, there is no Mack Warranty included.

The warranty they give you is stricly between you and the seller, and thats bull.

those companies are a sham. they will try to upsell you after a purchase. b&h or evs is the best best. those ebay companies are gonna charge you like $60 for shipping, another $20 for insurance and then try to sell you a $600 warranty from some no name company. mack is THE best warranty to get, and its only like $200 or so from b&h(i forget exactly how much it was). and those lenses are crap. the have a ton of vignetting cause they arent going to be 72mm lenses, they are like 62mm and come with an adapter ring.
