DVXUser Discount List?

Hey everybody,
I was thinking it might be helpful to a lot of people to have a list of all the places one can get a DVXuser discount. I ended up saving a fair amount of money on my kit so I figured I'd try to return the favor to the community.

*Disclaimer* I'm not sure if there is one already, I did a couple searches but couldn't find any comprehensive list.
With that being said, I'll start the list of the places that I know.

EVS
Rostronics

Maybe this is all there is for now, but I know Jarred and probably some others are working hard trying to get us more so maybe we can just add them here whenever we get a new discount? Just looking out for the team.

While you're at it, can somebody document the procedure for each one? I know Rostronics has a discount code, but what's the secret handshake for EVS? I wish I'd known what it was when I bought 2 Caselights a couple weeks ago.

Good idea about the procedures. And yes, for EVS Rush is the go-to man, but Randy proved just as helpful and provided the discount for me.

EVS - You have to call and speak to an associate, mention that you want the DVXUser Discount. I don't believe there is currently a way to get it online. Perhaps Rush can correct me.

Rostronics - When ordering online, type DVXUser in the coupon code box for a 5% discount.

Yes you still do have to call and ask for an associate for the DVXuser discount. Just say, " Hi I'm ______ and i am a DVXuser forum member." Then someone, either me, Randy or Tommy will handle your order and they will ask me for the appropriate discount amount. Discounts are set to keep it all fair to everyone all the time.

Is this limited to certain items? I just placed an order (online) but as it turned out I spoke with Kelly at EVS. I mentioned I am a DVX user but it seems that it may have been overlooked?

EVS discount varies for each item from 0% to 99.999% :) , while Rostronics is straight 5%. But you have to remember to ask for it each time.

Oktava mics (and probably all others sold at www.sound-room.com) get an extra 5% discount by entering the coupon code "DV" in the appropriate box at checkout... or if you call I'm sure you can mention it, but I think online ordering is faster.

Cool, yeah let's open it up to ANY discounts/secret handshakes everybody knows:) Thanks for participating guys. And Galt, I'd love to know what's discounted 99.99% at EVS but maybe it shouldn't be posted in a public forum. Thanks again ever'body.

Hi idv, try and email me at rush@evsonline.com or call in your order to me, randy, or tommy until we can get the whole "Coupon code" issue resolved.

Does anyone know if B&H in NYC has a DVXUSER discount. I usually buy from EVS, but they don't carry Sound Devices.
Thanks,
Mike

Golly, and I called Soundesign and offered them a dealership, but they said "The market in LA was too saturated." I guess it's never too late for a manufacturer to to not make money. :undecided
