That reminds me of this story that my photo teacher told me:

This lady kept trying to develope her film, and she kept getting nothing but pure black frames. so he wanted to figure out what was up, so he took her out shooting, and the film was spooling just fine. Then they get into the dark room, and they're standing there, ready to go, and she simply closes her eyes and starts to spool the reel.

She never turned the lights off! Just closed her eyes!
