You can see my post over in Hardware. I ordered 4/8/04. No batteries and no info. His shipments have slowed to a crawl. I would not be concerned had he emailed everyone who ordered or had he placed information on this website but to absolutely leave everyone hanging in the dark is not a good business practice. I realize he said that if I needed it quick to place a note. Well, I didn't need it quick at the time I placed the order but after two weeks, c'mon. I could understand a week delay but there has to be a better way.
I did not email him until yesterday(of course, no response yet). Just because he said that he would be away and I may not get it right away is not sufficient. If he said I could have up to a month or more delay depending on his schedule then at least that is different type of info and it would have affected my decision to purchase.
It is not a matter of money for me, it is a matter of establishing good business practices with consistency. If I knew it would be this long I would have picked up an 8 hour battery. At this point, I'll wait, but I may have to get the 8 hour battery in the meantime. I'll modify this post when I receive the batteries.
In regards to receiving email, there are numerous ways to access email to include mail2web.com to receive and respond to email. I realize he is "selling at cost" but even in that case I think the idea that we should wait as a result is ridiculous. It still is not good business practices not to make sure that they are shipped within a week. I would pay more to get them in a reasonable time if there is going to be a delay and 2 weeks before he ships or informs of shipment is not reasonable especially when he charges our charge card at the time of purchase.
I am not trying to be difficult...but reasonable. Okay, one price for "you get it when you get it" and another price "I'll get to you when you want it"..... Daniel, you received yours after 2 weeks. I have no clue when mine will arrive. If I received them within 3 weeks, fine but let me know it will be that long. I guess I have to believe that they are worth the wait but I need them at the latest by the 13th of May...and I am starting to get a little concerned. I didn't think I would have to put a "rush" order on them.
I would note that the "lenses DVD" is shipping regularly but not the batteries. What gives? Dave

You guys got my panties all in a bunch....
I ordered two of them on 4/16 and it said should arrive in 4-5 days. I'm counting on those things for my trip to Kauai that I leave for on the 30th.
That would be a major problem, seeing as how my $103 was accepted immediately and I don't have extra cash to buy "stock" $100 one hour batteries.
I'm SCURD! Please say it ain't so.... it's a little disturbing that it's been that long for you... I tried to call, "mailbox full" hangup. I will definatley be bummed out if those things don't show up.

I placed my order on Aprl 4th, and figured I would receive the batteries within 7 business days. I understand that things sometimes take a little longer time than one expects, but there should be some information on the web page that indicates that the waiting period is indeed quite long. Oh, yes. I have sent e-mails stating that I need the batteries asap.

Hey guys sorry again for the delays... I will ship the motherload out tommorow. Please remember Its just me, and shippingin them out isn't really a business, and sometimes I need to go away. As for checking my email in Vegas.. I actually did try on Tuesday but had 3600 emails and it woulda taken me about 4 hours to download them at the cafe I was at. Even the damn Answering machine filled up in under a day

Jarred has redeemed himself with a quick response upon coming back from NAB and emails apologizing as well as sending them 2-3 days express. One thing I guess I didn't realize--they are coming from Canada...stupid me--I jsut am not paying attention to the flags
interesting.... I purchased the lenses and received an email from Todd Williams that they would be shipped shortly which led me to believe there were priorities.... maybe it is not a business but maybe it should be by making a little profit... don't you guys in Canada have to file forms and stuff regarding businesses? Since Jarred has massive access to this site I still don't understand why he just didn't inform everyone that there could be up to 2-3 week delays on the batteries due to his involvement with NAB. Maybe it is somewhere but it would seem he could control this kind of info and end the anxiety of some.... oh well, it sounds like everyone concerned will be taken care of ....so life goes on... and its just another day in paradise.... dave

Ha ha yes Dave.. I am a horrible Battery salesman and I am glad its not my Job because I would be fired along time ago
I do do my best to get them out as soon as I can, and me and Todd run the DVD's together and he is sends those out, and is awesome at getting things out as soon as he can as well. As for the delay, I never expected it, I like to think I can do many things at once but something always seems to come up. But, as mentioned, I havn't slept in the last 48 hours but have been able to mostly catch up shipping them out today, but I was a little dozey so if you open your box and find my breakfast let me know, I'm still looking for it

Sorry about the initial grouch. I went to Las Vegas for NAB, and tried to time my battery order so that I could get it when I was there. The batteries arrived yesterday, two days after headed back to Norway. Now I am having them shipped to Chicago, where a friend is picking them up and bringing them to Europe. Long journey. Thanks to Jarred for upgrading shipment, I hope the batteries are good, and sorry to have jumped the gun.

Sorry Mr. Screen timing fell through... man if I was smart I coulda brought yours with me to Nab and met up with you somewhere. Murphys law though, they arrive a day after you leave
