DVXuser Battery charge cycle?

I just got the battery and would like to try it out. Do I need to "cycle" my battery like I did with my macbook? Do I need to fully charge it and then drain it completely before I star using it?

No, no need to. Your laptop battery has a fuel gauge that needs calibrating, the DVXUSER battery does not.

So there's no real protocol pertaining to this battery? I can use it out of the box, and charge it when needed?

Correct, just common sense, do not expose to extreme heat etc. You can read more in our FAQ.
