dvxuser batteries, charging

hey, i just got my dvxuser batteries in th mail and ive had one on charge since 3:30 and its now 9:45. it still isnt charged, i was wondering how long does it usualy take to charge them?
 
well, i just took that one off, and checked it on my camera. it says its almost fully charged so i think im just going to leave it. but the other one i ordered was full out of the box... its weird
 
Assuming you are charging them using the Panasonic charger, It should be 5-6 hour at most. The charger uses 3 contacts out of 4 (+, -, and the temperature sense). if for some reason the temp. contact is not making connection, due to a mechanical misalignment or an electrical problem, the charger declared the battery too warm for normal charge, and charges it at a very slow rate to be on the safe side. I would completely discharge both batteries in the camera, and then charge them one after another using the same charger.
