DVXfest?

Hey, guys/gals. I apologize. When I said that, I forgot my wife and kids were coming back from overseas yesterday, but I will get the rules up for you tonight (promise) as well as the first of the prizes that will be included in the prize pool (with more to come)

I do apologize for the delay. I've just created the sub-forum and posted the rules for "HorrorFest II"

Kept the rules simple (I hope). The most notable change is that you now have up to 10 minutes for your entries for this fest. After this one, we have plans to move to a 1x/yr fest with a live screening event. Probably sometime during summer on a yearly basis (beginning in 2014). We may also do a smaller thing for Halloween time every year moving forward (i.e. 48 hour fests or something like that) if there is enough demand. But, the focus moving forward will be to put on one, really kick-ass festival per year, rather than the old (and used up) format of 3x smaller fests/yr. The focus will be on trying to make our festival a launch pad to other opportunities and festivals. We will continue to give away physical prizes as well, and try to put more focus on networking and collaborative opportunities as well. And, our fests will continue to remain completely free and not-for-profit.

anyway... Just a little heads-up on where our thinking and planning is for the festivals moving forward :)
