[quote author=P.K. Come on, give me a few strokes or an extra month for post-production ;D[/quote]

Maybe the vids could be posted without saying who shot them.At voting time they would be toatally Anonymous and indepenant of any preconception...Just a thought.

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

That (no credits) is how its usually done. You can certainly revise your upload after the contest is complete and give full credit where it is due, but yes, initially, keep in anon.

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

There's no anonymous requirement for this contest. Since people are hosting on their own sites (for the most part) anonymity isn't really a workable option. Films are allowed to have credits as well. I seriously doubt this will turn into a popularity contest. I think users will vote for the film they like most. Plus, the voting thread will be locked for comments during the voting. People can discuss the films after the voting is complete.

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

I emplore people not to even think about this being a popularity contest; Ill call like I see it. Straight up.

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Do it anyways, I've disguised my canon zr60 footage as DVX100A footage numerous times, just Color correct and let the compression hide the low res

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Maybe we can have an 'other crap cameras' contest?

LOL

Im joking; chill.

I think this is a DVX FEST not a whatever format FEST.

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

The whole point of the contest is to see what DVX100 users can do with limited time and resources. While everyone is welcome on the board, the contest is meant to showcase the capabilities of the DVX100, so falsely submitting a non-DVX film is not cool.

Re: DVXFEST DECEMBER SHORT FILM CONTEST

Sides; if it ain't 24p it must be surviellance footage.
