DVX100B vs XL2 Stock audio

Does anyone have an opinion on how these two stock audio options compare? If they are both terrible, are there any good camera mounted solutions?

Sorry. I am asking about the quality of audio through the microphones that are shipped with the product. For the DVX100B the microphones at the end of the handle. How do they compare to the Mic that is shipped with the XL2?
