DVX100B + Canon GL2 Question

I am currently in pre-production for a short film and the primary camera I intend to use is my DVX100B. I also, however, have a couple of friends with Canon GL2's. It goes without saying that shooting on 3 cameras simultaneously makes things alot easier than with only 1. But, will the picture quality between the two cameras be too noticable to use them on the same film?

Not actually or necessarily. Wait till you try and work out the eyelines and line crosses for the actors when they have 3 cameras pointed at them. Wait till you try and hide the lights and the set fom three angles.

Your original question - do a test first and you will see if there is an issue or otherwise. Its part of preproduction to do testing.

Very good point about the multiple cameras though I meant in terms of continuity, editing, and saving time.

As for the test, the problem is that the GL2's are at a friend's house about 4 hours out of town. I was hoping to find someone who perhaps has tried these two cameras together before to save us a potentially wasted trip.
