DVX100B Camera Control With FCP 7?

Anyone know the correct settings in FCP 7 to correctly control and log video from the DVX100B?

Premiere seems to "talk with" the DVX just fine, but FCP seems to miss half the timecode stops, doesn't import the video correctly, and the controls in the capture window don't work with my camera. All I can do is hit the play button on the DVX, wait, and hope for the best.

I am hoping that this is just a matter of incorrect settings in FCP...

Any help appreciated!
 
Go to the EASY SETUPs in the FINAL CUT PRO menu. Choose DV/NTSC. (Or DV/PAL if in europe)

Connect the camera to the computer. Turn the camera on. THEN Launch FCP. Then log and capture.
