DVX100B and FCE4

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with their DVX100B and FCE4? When i first got my DVX, FCE2 failed to capture my footage (I'm thinking a timecode issue) and i was wondering if I could potentially fair better with FCE4.
I've been able to try it out on FCP 4 and 5 with success, naturally, and I like the added benefits of Pro so i may very well step up anyway. I would just like to see what my options are since upgrading to FCE4 would be more affordable right now. Thanks!

I've used FC Express exclusively, and a DVX100A almost exclusively... Since the DVX100 produces DV, I don't know why the version 2 would not capture... but I've had no problem with FC E 4 capturing 24pa (albeit processed as standard 29.97 DV...).

I admit it's very odd. When I bought the camera a compatibility issue never even crossed my mind. Unfortunately, the fact remains that there is a problem so I'm just debating my alternatives. Thanks to your response, I feel that FCE 4 may be an option. Thanks.
