I am trying to capture footage from my DVX100A. I set the in time and the out time, and when I hit capture clip on FCP, my camera goes to the in point, and the timecode changes from some code that is on the camera to the tape code. It's as if there is a difference between the VITC and the LTC on the tape. It does not capture, it just rocks back and forward, trying to figure out what code to read. It does it to every tape I put in. Whether the tapes were recorded on this camera or not. Is there a way to force the camera to playback LTC or VITC like you would a VTR?
