dvx100a in premiere

I am 2 steps away from purchasing a dvx100a and I was wondering if anyone has had trouble capturing, editing or exporting footage from this camera via firewire? any trouble while shooting in 24p mode?

Hi,

Well, I have a Pan 102AE & also use Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 to capture my source tapes. However, you can only select Panasonic as the generic camera to capture with because they don't list the specific model of 100A or 102A in thier software. However, I've done plenty of captures from my 102AE into Premiere's timeline.
