I need to get a firewire card for my studio PC where I'll be doing all my video editing.
I know the DVX100A has a 1394 firewire out, and I presume that it will connect into a Firewire 1394a port (400 Mbits/sec). But if I get a card with Firewire 1394b (800 Mbits/sec), is the 1394 output fully compatible with either one, or is 400 the limit?
