I tried downloading the manual for Final Cut Express HD 3.5 off Apple site but kept getting error message (bad file)...was wondering if I could export from Final Cut Express using compression & keep my chapter markers when importing into IDVD 6? I've compressed my movie but it didn't give me an "export chapter markers" option as does the "make self contained movie" so I now have the movie without the chapters selection. I burnt a 119 minute movie onto a 120 minute DVD and parts of it began breaking up (using make self-contained movie option...with chapter selection) so I thought I'd try to compress & see what happens...thanks. Just wondering if anyone else had this setup & what they'd do in this instance...

Blaine...thanks, I'll give this a whirl...I did successfully burn a disk yesterday with chapters using self-contained but when I de-selected 'self-contained movie' I chose to convert using Quicktime conversion and didn't see an option where I could carry over the chapters along with the movie. However, now I will try as this tutorial instructed and see what happens...earlier I kept getting 'bad file' when trying to download info from Apple. Thanks...I appreciate the point.
