My DVX which is almost 8 months old with 65 hours on it broke on me in the middle of a shoot yesterday night. We are scheduled to shoot the next 6 days for deadline reasons. What would you do? Luckly my friend just bought a DVX so I am going to see if I can borrow that today.
Basically the white balance starts freaking out and changing colors rapidly under high shutter speed and sometimes under 48 or no shutter speed (I orginally noticed it when I switched to a higher shutter). Plus there are these thin white lines that appear above the letterbox mask...
Anybody near Barrington IL (an hour out of Chicago) that would be willing to come shoot in case my friend for some reason cannot give up his camera. Thanks guys for your input and wisdom, I never thought this would actually happen to me
