as we all know the 100a doesnt do full 16:9
and i never thought about using letterbox till now
i got t2i footage that i would love to incorporate
but i rather it size up with a 16:9
i just got the instant hd
wondering if there anyone else found a better way
or if i should start shooting in letter box?

If you want to use Instant HD on the footage, you should absolutely NOT shoot letterbox. Shoot SQUEEZE or 4:3 using THIN Vertical Detail Frequency.

About the ONLY thing letterbox is good for is if you want 16:9 on a standard TV and you're going to play the raw footage with no processing (like straight from tape). Otherwise, you're just wasting pixels.
