DVX100a and Glidecam accessory

i was PA'ing on a production where they had a glidecam 2000 pro and DVX100 and they had attached some sort of tripod mount to the glidecam and DVX that would let you balance the glidecam once and then be able to mount and dismount the camera as if you were mounting it to a tripod, without messing up the balance of the glidecam. Does anyone know what this is and where i can get it? i didn't see it on the glidecam website. thanks

thats exactly what i do.. its just a bogen QR assembly that you can get at bh photo for about 30 bucks.. it uses the same plate as your 501 or 503 heads, so you can just click in and click out... set once and forget it :)

Did we ever figure out which one will work? I have a Bogen head and the 4000 pro.
