DVX100a 24pa editing on which version of FCP?

(I hope I didn't put this in the wrong forum!)

I am planning to purchase a dvx100a so I can make the jump to the 24pa film look. I currently use Final Cut Express for editing with my GL2. I have read that for true 24pa editing, FCE will not work. I read the link below:

My question is which version of FCP will allow me to edit for 24pa? I plan to buy a copy of FCP off of ebay to save money. (The price tag for the latest version of FCP at the apple website is way out of my budget!)

Any suggestions on which version of FCP will allow me to edit my 24pa footage?!?!

I think it was FCP 4.5.
Note that there are some applicatiosn that can convert 24pa to true 23.98 clips such as DVMaker. Thsi was the way you had to deal with things before FCP was upgraded. That means you could convert clips and use those in older versions of FCP but since this is/was $100 and required another step it's usually not the best approach. It also meant that tmecode and recapturing could become more problematic.
