DVX100 viewers

It seems there are usually close to as many people viewing the DVX100 forum as any of the panasonic categories here, except hpx170/hvx200.
Seems dvx, af100 and hmc are pretty close and Ac series quite a few less, like 1/2 or 1/3.

Do you think that is somewhat representative of what's out there?
Still many dvx in use, and lots of hpx/hvx?

I think Canon grabbed hold of the indy film market and never let go.

I think the OP is referring to panasonic cameras only.

Wow, af100 is pretty cheap on ebay.

I'm one of the dinosaurs who's still rocking the DVX. I love that camera.

Yeah, I meant Panasonic cameras. Just curious. I guess there are never any actual numbers released showing how many of these various cameras are sold? It seems there are still a fair number of people using the DVX100.
I remember back 'in the day.... it was either Canon XL2 or DVX100. I don't know that any Panasonic camera since was ever such a major widespread camera with greater impact.

i never had a dvx-100. Only canon cameras. I'm just some cock that makes films and likes to yammer on about them. I had a friend with a dvx-100 once - and now he is no longer my friend.
