DVX100 Help Clock Meter

Hello,
I am having a problem I just got the camera brand new I even checked the hour meter before I used it.It was at zero at the time and so I used it about 9 hours and then the hour meter jumped from 9 to 99 hours. Help!

I love that everyone has the same exact sense of humor!

Rachel Constantine: The fact that it recorded static isn't what interests me. What interests me is that it recorded approximately 18 hours of it.

I had the camera off.
There is no way it could record static

You are positive it was at 0? :-/
