DVX100 Hard Case

I just had a custom hard case made to my specs for my new DVX100A. All the basic gear fits inside. I thought perhaps others might be interested in this configuration - rugged, waterproof and fits on many airlines.

latches won't pop open, WAY more comfortable handle, pressure valve can't come off, different case materials...otherwise, yes, they are very similar.

I believe I have the same size case for both my DVX100s -one case and two cameras.

I got a Storm case as part of (Australian importer's) Panasonic's deal here in Australia.
It is a slightly smaller model Storm im2400 than the Banana deal im2600 but is a great case.
The handle is a lot better than the Pelicans. I've carried a couple. And I particularly like the push button release catches. You won't bark your knuckles opening up the catches.
I'm thinking about getting another Storm case for my sound equipment.
The only thing I didn't like was the pick and pluck foam. Though I notice that it is custom hot wire cut in the Banana cases case.
