DVX100-B from NewEgg?

My film group is ready to take the plunge this week on a 100B, and I'm thinking of going with NewEgg. Has anyone bought their DVX from NewEgg? Does it still include the DVX Book/DVD? Does it still include the rebate?

Thanks.

Why there?....why not from a seller that has more knowledge than a computer parts outlet like newegg? If you want support then go to a authorized dealer. Besides...you can get a better price somewhere else than what newegg is offering.

Why there? I've ordered tons of stuff from them in the past and I know they're fast and reliable. As long as it's the same product/package, what difference does it make where I get it from? Especially if the price difference is a hundred dollars or less. I already know what the DVX can do, and that I want one. I don't need some camera salesman telling me what a great purchase I'm making. I already know. Please feel free to link to a better price than NewEgg's, as I haven't yet found a legitimate one. And as far as I know, NewEgg is an authorized dealer. Now if you're interested in actually answering some questions that I asked...

Authorized dealer

Authorized dealer

Call EVS and ask for Tommy Mack. Tell them you are a dvxuser forum member and ask for the dvxuser discount and compare with Newegg. Also the book, DVD, and MB is included as well as you can qualify for the $400 rebate. In addition they have excellent service and other goodies that they will mention to you. But you must call and not do it online for the price. Here is their resellerratings comments if in doubt: http://www.resellerratings.com/seller4806.html

Also I've heard Abelcine LA is also give good deals...look online for their number.

Dammitjanet I know this still isn't answering any of your questions but if you have such good experiences with the company why don't you just pick up the phone and call them to find out what's included? I mean are you hoping someone here works at NEWEGG or is it you just want someone else to do your research? Otherwise I'd go with what Smithy said above.

I'm currently buying a couple of B's from EVS. I saw that deal on newegg.com. also which is like 3199.

I talked to Rush about it and he said to make sure they're an authorized dealer. If they're not then you can't get the $400 bucks and assorted stuff.

I contacted Newegg via their online chat, the guy said they showed no rebate for the DVX100B. It's actually listed as the DVX100BMBK, whatever that means.

Anyway, If you can get an authorized dealer price for $3400 or so. You're actually getting the cam for 3 grand.

Hey, i bought my camera from Newegg before they ran out. It came with the Magic bullet software and Book plus the dvd for the book. Now, i ordered from these guys because i have an account with them. Its seems as if the rebate is being processed as per the Panasonic rebate site.

http://www.acbrebate.com/PanasonicRebate/inquiry.aspx

I ordered from newegg, because i called various places, and i had horrible customer service. Although, I did not call EVS. I just wanted to go with a company that i whole heartily trusted, and newegg was the place.

It also looks as if the acbrebate.com online rebate form has been taken down. I applied for my rebate online and the online site says it is processing, which i assume is a good thing.

As far as newegg, i am not sure that they will receive more stock of the camera, since they are still sold out and i purchased mine on the 22nd of march, and they ran out the next day.

I am curious does anybody have a shot of their DVX100b retail box.

Nobody's gonna answer your questions with an attitude like that.

wow, relax.

All I know is I talked to Newegg and they said no rebate. And...i'm a little wary of the listing they had. If anyone can find out what a DVX100BMBK is, let me know. Rush and Tommy didn't know.

I'm getting my cams from EVS for 3K each after rebates.

I just bought my 100b from abesofmaine.com 3084.99 before the rebate. They try to pressure you to buy accessories but if you are prepared and have the right answers they will leave you alone. They also offered me a promotional price for there 4 year extended warranty which is usually 600 and some change, but I got it for half that.

I ordered the 2 day air option at 159.00. The camera ended up coming one day early.

Altogether I will have spent a little over 3k for my 100b with a 5 year warranty if you count the standard factory.

Hope this helps.

When I called newegg, they said they were an authorized Panasonic dealer, but I would have to contact panasonic to find out if the dvx100b was eligable for rebate.
