to whom it may concern,

I am a choreographer just beginning to learn about film as a new venue to show my work. I am told that the dvx is a tried and true workhorse for these sorts of projects. I really don't know the first thing about this piece of equip. I'm just starting out and would like a bit of a tutor on where and what to start learning. terminology, functions of the camera, lighting, audio. books, internet resources to study.

Uh, in short, the DVX is one of two really affordable prosumer camcorders that can do 24p.

24p is a way of recording that mimics the look and feel of motion pictures.
