hello.

i will be in paris early next week and then prague later in the week/weekend and i was curious if there were either any dvx users there, or if anyone knew of any video stores?

i had a silly idea that maybe i could get some chrosziel accessories for my mattebox at a better price due to US vs. european prices?

damn i wish i was in those cities, so beautiful, can't wait to go there again. Sorry I don't know any good videos equip stores but maybe do a google search.

Hope you will enjoy Paris, i can give ou some adresses for video stores there but be warned: it's gonna be expensive (at least more than in the US)

French / European prices are ALWAYS more expensive than US prices, because you pay the importation taxes, the shipping...etc and in your case, since Euro is more expensive than US DOLLAR (1€ = 1,27$) it will make it even more expensive, sorry.

i do have an updated version of the car thrilled thing...

all i ask is that if you watch it you keep in mind that it is NOT the real program, it is simplya bunch of lighting tests that i decided to throw together into a complete file.

the script isn't done so we used minute fragments of the concept of the script, the actual actor wasn't used i just had a friend fill in.

in general i like the look, i am really unhappy with some of the nightime shots but i did it with a mini-frezzi for lighting.

for the real thing i will be using some sort of hmi with a generator + a real actor.

there isn't a real ending because the friend with the 68 baracudda in the show had to go on the road for a frew months.

the biggest missing pieces are much more dialog in the "interrorgation scene", a real actor, real music, and the biggest thing narative wise, a hit and run "flashback" scene that will be intercut with the interrogation scene + an ending!

Mathew, you picked exactly the wrong date! I'll be in Prague in about two weeks (from Nov. 15), visiting friends and family, and shooting a documentary project I've been working on. We could've hooked up and maybe do some shooting together...

And perhaps show you a bit more than just Prague. The city is absolutely amazing, it's just too bad it overshadows the rest of the country...

Anyway, have a GREAT time, and say Hi to all those gorgeous Czech chicks from me ;D
