DVX User average age...where do you fall?

45 this year.

I've been in the biz about 26 years now. Shot a lot of film and a lot of different video formats. . . (including HD)

I love my DVX100 (no A, B, etc. . .)

Fond memories of CMX A/B roll editing w/1" VTRs, sure, do I miss it? hmmmmm. . .

NOT with my Mac and Final Cut!

well...it depends how you look at it......lets see hair starts to fall out....memory starts to fade, teeth fall out, start to wet your shorts, then you have to get a caretaker, you have to be fed....hmmm.......all you can stomach is fluids.......momma?:thumbsup:

Isn't sound still the big problem? Most of these DV features have terrible sound.
I got a professional Sanken CS3e with a fuill boom and mount and I still don't like the quality of going in directly to the DVX100's and using it's preamp. Tried using a mixpre which sounded GREAT but would not work with the DVX100.. it gave it boosted levels no matter what setting line/mic level I used.

Oh.... 32 here... and yeah wasn't it just like 1992 yesterday night?

It's ok cause I'm a Willy Wonka type..... age is silly.
