A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting Kool and the Gang here in Dallas. We used two DVX100A's set to 24pAdvanced. The sound was captured directly from the FOH console to the DVX. Sound and look turned out great! You can see some frames at http://www.LightedPath.biz . I'm editing the footage on FCP HD with plans to author a DVD using Combustion3 and DVD Studio Pro3.
You can also see a mp4 of my first commercial shoot for a jazz club using the DVX100A. I really like this camera. The audio is no slouch either.
